Translator

My name is Kyle David Anderson (安凯德 / 凯尔大卫安德森) and I’m  a  translator of Chinese children’s and adult contemporary literature. I work with Yilin 译林, Guomai 果麦, China Translation and Publishing 中国出版集团 and many other presses to make wonderful works of Chinese literature available in English. I have lived and worked all over the world, including Beijing and Taipei.

I hold a PhD in comparative literature (比较文学), have worked as a professor and administrator at Centre College and Clemson University, and am currently serving as Vice President of Strategic Programming at API, a leader in study abroad and experiential learning. I live in the Upstate region of South Carolina.

凯尔 大卫 安德森 (或安凯德）(Kyle David Anderson)，现任克莱门森大学的国际交流中心（Office of Global Engagement）高级总监，曾担任过中文系副教授以及亚洲研究专业主席。他于2010年开始在森特学院工作，担任 Arthur Vining Davis 博士后教学研究员，在2016年被任命为 Centre Scholar 。安德森曾是台湾富布赖特项目 （Fulbright Program）的少年访问学者，并在北京和意大利都担任过富布赖特海斯研究员。他毕业于杨百翰大学比较文学系，并在宾夕法尼亚州立大学专攻汉语和意大利语。

个人研究重点主要涉及中意文学交流的历史。安德森还是现代中国和意大利诗歌与散文的翻译者。他的作品在 Pathlight: New Chinese Writing, China Scenic, 以及 Los Angeles Review of Books 中刊登过。他还定期与果麦文化、译林出版社以及中国出版集团合作出版。

安德森曾领导了8个不同的留学项目，目的地分布亚洲，欧洲和英国。他还亲自带领了教师和学生团去华南，西藏，泰国和缅甸参与留学交流访问。

在他的领导下，森特学院的 鲁斯基金会 （Henry Luce Foundation）和 梅陇基金会的补助金 （Andrew Mellon Foundation）持续为学生在亚洲，非洲和纽约市提供学习和实习的机会。

最后，安德森是缅甸第一所文科大学Parami人文科学研究所的创始成员和对外事务主任。
